Marshall Anto I
Marshall Anto I holds undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in Defence and Strategic Studies from the University of Madras and serves as Assistant Professor at The New College, Chennai. His research focuses on terrorism and its global geopolitical impacts, with a special emphasis on maritime security. Marshall explores how terrorism shapes national and international policies, regional stability, and global power dynamics. His work bridges security studies, strategic affairs, and international relations to advance informed dialogue on critical security challenges.

Kousik Raj P
Kousik Raj P holds a postgraduate degree in Defence and Strategic Studies from the University of Madras, following his undergraduate studies in commerce. He currently serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Defence and Strategic Studies at The New College, Chennai. His research interests focus on national security issues, particularly those affecting coastal regimes. In addition to his academic pursuits, he is a trained open water swimmer with over two years of experience in sea swimming.

Daleeya Dehingia
Daleeya is a Research Analyst at Dragonfly Intelligence with a master’s in Defence and Strategic Studies from the University of Madras and a Political Science degree from the University of Delhi. She has experience as a Consular Assistant, interned at DRDO-CVRDE, and worked with Greater Chennai Police as a conflict negotiator. A former student leader, she has actively participated in academic conferences and inter-college events. Passionate about sports, travel, and culture, she also volunteers for social and environmental causes.

Lokeshwari N
Lokeshwari Natarajan is an Assistant Professor in Defence and Strategic Studies and a graduate of the University of Madras. Her academic expertise spans national security, strategic affairs, and geopolitical dynamics. She has a focused interest in maritime security, naval strategy, and the strategic importance of oceans in global and regional stability. Through her teaching, research, and field engagement, she is committed to advancing policy discussions on India’s maritime interests and the evolving security landscape of the Indo-Pacific region.

Tamilvendhan A
Tamilvendhan Anbarasan holds a Master’s degree in Defence and Strategic Studies from the University of Madras. He previously served as a Project Coordinator with the Environmentalist Foundation of India (E.F.I), leading conservation-focused initiatives. Currently, he works at (C.A.R.C.E), where he contributes to interdisciplinary research on coastal resilience and sustainable development, bridging environmental conservation with strategic coastal security challenges.

Vigneshwaran V
Vigneshwaran Venkatesan is a UGC-Senior Research Fellow conducting interdisciplinary research in Criminology and Defence Studies at the University of Madras. His research focuses on the smuggling of migrants by sea and the implementation of the UNTOC and its Migrant Smuggling Protocol. He holds a master’s degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice Administration. His areas of interest include non-traditional security threats, maritime crimes, and transnational organised crime. He has also held academic and research positions at leading institutions in Chennai.
After completing Post Graduation from the University of Madras, I worked on research projects at the Department of Criminology, University of Madras and Centre for Women's Development Studies. Also, I worked as Assistant Professor at JHA Agarsen College, Chennai.

Perunthamizh Kabilan N
N. Perunthamizh Kabilan is a Guest Lecturer at the Department of Defence Studies, Government Arts College, Coimbatore. He holds degrees in Hotel Management and Defence and Strategic Studies, including a postgraduate and M.Phil. from the University of Madras. Known for promoting practical-oriented teaching methods, he has contributed to defence education across Tamil Nadu. His recent work focuses on raising awareness among youth about the critical importance of coastal security in India.

Kanimozhi Nagarajan holds a B.Com in Corporate Secretaryship from Ethiraj College for women and has completed training in Investment Banking. She currently specializes in Talent Acquisition for a leading US-based medical billing company, focusing on strategic hiring and organizational development. Passionate about people, processes, and performance, Kanimozhi is dedicated to identifying and onboarding top talent within the dynamic US healthcare sector, aiming to create meaningful experiences and drive impactful workforce solutions.

Yukesh R
Yukesh Ramesh, a postgraduate in Defence and Strategic Studies, is fascinated by security challenges, particularly energy politics. His expertise, honed during an internship at DRDO, is bolstered by certificate courses from SciencesPo (International Energy), IEA (Energy Efficiency Indicators), and IAEA (Radioactive Material Control). Committed to public service, he has a strong record of National Service engagement. Driven by environmental concerns, he has also presented research on Energy Security at various forums.

Dhanya D is a Research Scholar at the Department of Defence and Strategic Studies, University of Madras. Her research focuses on India’s Submarine Building Capability. She completed her graduation in English Literature and holds a postgraduate degree in Defence and Strategic Studies from the University of Madras. Through her work, she aims to contribute to the understanding of India’s naval capabilities and strategic maritime interests.

Avantika Babu, a Visual Communication graduate from Ethiraj College for Women, is passionate about direction, storytelling, and editing. With a strong creative vision, she brings narratives to life through compelling visuals and sharp editing. Her expertise extends into 3D design, where she combines technical skills with artistic flair to create immersive experiences. Avantika thrives in collaborative environments and is driven by a constant desire to learn and innovate, making her a valuable contributor to any creative think tank or media initiative.

Deepanwita is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Modern Office Management from the University of Delhi. She has practical experience in human resource management, social media, content design, and website coordination. Skilled in recruitment support and managing learning management systems (LMS), she focuses on enhancing user experience and engagement. Known for her proactive and organized approach, Deepanwita combines HR knowledge with digital and operational expertise, bringing creativity, efficiency, and strong interpersonal skills to every role she undertakes.

Tejesvi MG is a social media manager with academic backgrounds in Journalism and Defence & Strategic Studies. Skilled in copywriting, content creation, and editing, she combines storytelling with digital engagement to deliver impactful communication. She has experience as a graphic design apprentice at News7 Tamil and has contributed to multiple news platforms including Asiana Times and Telecom Talk. Most recently, she served as Social Media Manager at Galatta Plus, bringing creativity and strategic insight to digital media management.

Nitish s
Nitish S holds undergraduate degrees in Law and Arts from the School of Excellence in Law, Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University, Chennai. He is currently a Junior Advocate at the Madras High Court under Senior Counsel Silambanan (Kaavya Silambanan Associates), assisting in civil and criminal matters, including NCLT, CAT, ADR, and Mediation. Nitish is skilled in case law analysis, client counselling, and legal reporting. With strong research and communication skills, he is committed to a career combining legal expertise with public responsibility.

Hasini Sahana S
Hasini Sahana Swaminathan holds an undergraduate degree in Law and Computer Applications from the School of Excellence in Law, Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University, Chennai. She currently works in the Office of the Additional Public Prosecutor at the Madras High Court, assisting in criminal litigation and prosecution. Her interests lie in litigation, intellectual property rights, and public policy. She has presented at national seminars, published on toxic torts, and is WIPO-certified in IP. She is dedicated to law for justice and governance.
